Hairdressing Technical Educator

Full Time | south Island

Professional Hair Brands are seeking a passionate, friendly and skilled Technical Educator or Hairdresser to join our team!

The successful candidate will be based in Christchurch and will be responsible for educating and supporting all existing and new clients throughout the their territory including Christchurch, Invercargill, Dunedin and Queenstown.

In this role you will work within a fantastic team as you manage your own diary, traveling between salons within your territory, providing in depth training to hairdressers on brands that are exclusive to PHB.

    • Conduct hands on training sessions for hairdressers including educating stylists on the features, benefits and application of PHB products.

    • Develop and customise training programs to meet the specific needs of each salon.

    • Provide ongoing support and feedback to salons to ensure successful implementation of our products.

    • Conduct or Facilitate professional seminars to educate our valued clients.

    • Remain current with industry trends and product knowledge to deliver the best training experience.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with salon owners and staff.

    • Fully qualified hairdresser with current experience within the hairdressing industry.

    • Willingness and ability to learn and retain a strong knowledge of our hair products and techniques.

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

    • Ability to self-motivate, work independently as well as within a team environment.

    • Highly organized with excellent time management.

    • Education-driven as well as focused on building relationships.

    • Great presentation skills.

    • Thrives on achieving goals and set targets.

    • A genuine passion for the hair industry.

    • Able to travel within and occasionally outside your current region/territory frequently.

    • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
